STBHS Annual Report

Every year, St. Brendan Catholic High School releases an annual fund report from their development department. The report is sent out to their consitituents which include alumni, students, parents, and members of the archdiose of Miami. It’s meant to show the contributions of donors and the process the school has made financially.

At Dax Agency, I was tasked with redesigning the previous annual report cover and make edits to the interior layout. They wanted a modern take on the previous year’s design.

Original Cover

I was tasked with redesigning the previous annual report cover and make edits to the interior layout.

The original cover was modern and incorporated the brand’s complimentary color of yellow. Our client wanted to stray away from the use of yellow and incorporate more white space

Process Work

I thought it would be visually interesting to go with a typographic cover layout. Our client in their briefing showed examples of collages. So, I went ahead and brained storm how to create a collage in a clean and meaningful way. Instead of having a collage distract from the branding, I used the “STBSHS” branding as main point of focus. We narrowed it down to two options but decided more white space was best.
